We’re open 10 a.m.–3 p.m., with displays and activities all day. The Museum of the Alphabet takes a close look at the heart of our work: language, culture, and Bible translation. Come trace the history of writing. Hop into a missionary plane, or pile into a four-wheel-drive vehicle and enjoy our off-road course. Either way, you’ll get a taste of how Bible translators reach remote villages.
Come early! Rides in both aircraft and the vehicle course are limited, and tickets are sold on a first-come, first-served basis.Pack a picnic, or buy lunch here served up by local food trucks. Drop by historic downtown Waxhaw for coffee, antique shopping, or a walking tour. Hike or camp at Cane Creek Park or Andrew Jackson State Park.
